HOWTO gloCOM integration with SugarCRM

CRM settings

In order to use gloCOM with SugarCRM you will need a running and fully operational SugarCRM installation and any edition of gloCOM with CRM module.

To set up gloCOM integration with SugarCRM open main gloCOM window and click Tools -> Preferences, after the preferences window opens, in left panel click CRM icon.

Mark the checkbox Enable CRM integration and enter username and password for SugarCRM access.

In addition to this, your CRM integration should also be set up in your PBXware GUI, under Settings -> CRM Integration.

In URL field, enter your SugarCRM address.

You can also set default SugarCRM behavior on incoming and outgoing calls in options:

Popup on inbound calls when:

  • I answer the call
Enabling this option will open browser window displaying SugarCRM client information after the call is answered.
  • I receive a call
Enabling this option will open browser window displaying SugarCRM client information after the call is received, even if it's not answered.

Popup on outbound calls when:

  • Call is started
Enabling this option will open browser window displaying SugarCRM client information before outgoing call is answered.
  • Call is answered
Enabling this option will open browser window displaying SugarCRM client information after outgoing call is answered.

Alternatively, you can set these two options to never, and manually starting SugarCRM popup by clicking the SugarCRM icon in call dialog if needed.
