PBXware 3.8 and OpenVox PCI cards

From version 3.8.3 PBXware supports limited range of OpenVox cards:

  • A400P
  • A810P
  • D130P/D130E


A800P Card

It is registered as Digium TDM800P, and act like one, which means configuration is identical.


A400P Card

It is registered as Digium TDM400P, and act like one, which means configuration is identical.


D130P/D130E Card (T1/E1)

It is registered as Digium TE110P, and act like one, which means configuration is identical.

Important configuration settings:

  • Framing: ccs
  • Coding: hdb3
  • Switchtype: EuroISDN

To connect two boxes using these cards, you have to set up your system with different signalling. Signaling on one of your servers should be set to "PRI CPE side" and Spam timing should be set to 1, while second server signalling should be set to "PRI Network side" with Spam timing should be set to 0.

Debugging

Enter asterisk CLI and check dahdi status with:

dahdi show status

Description Alarms IRQ bpviol CRC Fra Codi Options LBO
D115 (E1/T1) Card 0 Span 1 OK 0 0 0 CCS HDB3 0 db (CSU)/0-133 feet (DSX-1)

There should be no alarms. You can confirm this with command

dahdi restart

Confirm PRI span is up with:

pri show spans
