When a GUI update is available, the system will display a notification. Based on this:
GUI Update Offered: If the system shows a GUI update notification, users can follow GUI update guide to perform the upgrade. GUI update
No GUI Update Offered: If no GUI update is offered, a core upgrade is required. This must be performed by our Technical Support team—please contact them to proceed.
All SERVERware upgrades are initiated through the SERVERware Upgrade Wizard. To access the wizard and request an upgrade, follow these steps:
Depending on the system size and the current SERVERware version, the Technical Support team will provide any additional details during the upgrade arrangement.
The expected downtime typically ranges from 30 minutes to 1 hour, assuming no issues occur. However, it is strongly recommended to reserve a maintenance window of at least 4 hours to ensure sufficient time for troubleshooting if needed.
NOTE: Please ensure that KVM access is available for all servers, including the backup host, prior to the upgrade. This access is required to allow the Technical Support team to perform necessary actions and resolve any potential issues during the procedure.
Once the ticket is received, an engineer will review the system and request any additional information if required.
